DataEase International Inc, Trumbull, Connecticut has launched DataEase SQL 1.0, an application development client-server database front-end: the first to be supported is the Microsoft/Sybase SQL Server version 1.1 up, with Oracle Server, IBM OS/2 Extended Edition Database Manager, Micro Decisionware’s Database Gateway for DB2, and Teradata DBC/1012 in the plan; DataEase SQL comprises the DataEase SQL Professional application developers tool for one user and linking to one server type; the DataEase SQL Workstation Master, which supports server-specific execution of an application with limited development and ad hoc query capabilities; and the SQL Workstation Pack, for workstation support in five-user increments; DataEase SQL 1.0 elements cost $1,000 for DataEase SQL Professional; $1,500 for theMicrosoft/Sybase SQL Server Version of DataEase SQL Workstation Master; and $1,750 for workstation support.
