Data General Ltd, Hounslow, Middlesex UK end of the Westboro minimaker says that it will continue to support Revision 6.0 of the AOS/VS operating system for the 32-bit MV series indefinitely, lifting any pressure on users to upgrade to the company’s latest Revision 7.5: it says that users have made it clear they don’t want to upgrade their hardware in order to move onto the latest release, despite enhanced features that include increased recommended minimum main system memory – when the earlier 6.0 release is adequate for their needs.
