DATA GENERAL PICKS XEROX VENTURA, ENHANCES CEO

Data General Corp has bought a licence to Xerox Ventura Publisher to plunge into the desk-top publishing business with a version of Ventura tailored to interface with CEO. It company also has a new release of Comprehensive Electronic Office, enhancing word and document processing and electronic mail and supporting CEO Desktop Composer. The latter comes in three Packages Workstation, Peripherals and Software. The first includes a Dasher/286 AT-alike with 640Kb, 20Mb disk, 15 display and Ventura software for $6,460. The second is software, mouse and screen, $3,090. The software alone costs $1,640.
