DATA GENERAL EXPANDS US ON-CALL SUPPORT SERVICES TO INCLUDE SELECTED NON-DATA GENERAL HARDWARE

By CBR Staff Writer

If lots of your users insist on buying large parts of their systems from someone else, no point in being snooty about it, much better to turn the trend to your own advantage: accordingly, Data General has expanded its US On-Call Support Services to include selected non-Data General hardware, including Genicom, Dataproducts and NEC printers, Urix interactive voice processors, and Micom communications equipment; the General already does IBM Personalikes and will be adding other products in the coming months.
