DATA GENERAL BUYS DEVELOPER OF TEO/3D SOFTWARE IN OZ

Data General Corp is acquiring Down Under: the Marlboro, Massachusetts minimaker has ageed to buy the assets of Easinet Pty Ltd, of Sydney, Australia and has offered employment to most of its employees. The price has not been given. Easinet is a privately held software company that develops and markets engineering database and applications software packages. Easinet has been an OEM customer of Data General for seven years, and developed the TEO/3D engineering database software for Data General’s Technical Electronic Office suite. Easinet has development and applications employees in Australia and at the Data General Industry Marketing Division based in Denver, Colorado.
