Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire-based communications firm Data & Control Equipment Ltd has decided to re-register as a public limited company named DCE Communications Group Plc – managing director David Healey stated that the move did not presage any plans for flotation, but was merely a move to gain more credibility with its clients, who now include more blue chip companies: the newly-named group has a combined turnover of UKP7.5m a year, and will consist of Data & Control, its DCE Corp marketing arm in the US, and a new company, DCE Video Communications Ltd, which has been set up to distribute and install a range of videoconferencing systems.
