Data consulting and services provider Utopia has partnered with NRX, a provider of Asset Information Management (AIM) and governance offerings, to provide combined consulting and AIM software offerings that support and enhance customer’s SAP systems to improve asset performance and reduce safety and compliance risk in asset intensive industries.

Under the alliance, the two companies will address the expanding industry requirements for managing data to optimise asset and plant operations, said Utopia. They also will deliver hard dollar return on assets through data integrity and process optimisation.

Utopia will be providing strategy consulting, implementation services, and best practices pertaining to Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Master Data Readiness and Sustainment leveraging software offerings from NRX.

These offerings complement Utopia’s SAP information management practice as they are integrated with SAP ERP and SAP Enterprise Information Management (EIM).

NRX CEO Ian Locke said success to many of NRX’s SAP customers’ Enterprise Asset Management initiatives is predicated on establishing a solid foundation of EAM Master Data and taking a holistic approach to the management and sustainment of this data: structured and unstructured over the life of the assets.

"Utopia is uniquely positioned with proven top-down strategies and practices to strategically implement a cradle to grave plan that drives EAM excellences, improves business performance, and reduces operational risk," said Locke.

Utopia president and CEO Arvind Singh said the partnership with NRX provides tangible results by aligning data with asset management to achieve the best business outcome.

"This alliance will provide the solutions that organizations are seeking for data readiness and sustainment to complement their asset data lifecycle management strategies," said Arvind Singh.
