UC4 Software signs OEM partnership with BusinessObjects

Integrates SAP BusinessObjects with UC4 Workload Automation Suite to enable customers to analyze and report on activities

By CBR Staff Writer

UC4 Software and Ireland-based BusinessObjects Software have signed a global original equipment manufacturer or OEM partnership under which UC4 will offer to its customers worldwide with its Workload Automation Suite integrated with SAP BusinessObjects business intelligence services.

UC4 Software said that its customers will be able to leverage the SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence software to generate management reports detailing how IT systems are performing against key performance indicators.

UC4 Software also said that pre-configured templates will help ensure that UC4 Workload Automation Suite users gain immediate access to reports on system activity and throughput, while SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence will enable advanced data mining and analytics processing of IT workload statistics.

According to UC4 Software, the integrated SAP BusinessObjects functionality extends UC4 Workload Automation Suite, providing organizations with the ability to simplify query building and utilize business terms instead of complex data structures to represent IT activities.

Timo Klemm, director of strategic alliances at UC4 Software, said: By delivering SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence directly to UC4 customers, they will benefit from the enterprise scheduling and workload automation technology of the business intelligence tool to analyze and report on activities. This integrated solution helps both business and technical users see more clearly how automation of IT workload supports an organization in achieving its key performance goals.
