Data warehousing software provider Teradata has reported flat net income of $79m for the fourth quarter 2008, on revenue up 6% at $493m.

Operating income during the quarter grew 6% to $102m, while diluted EPS grew 5% to $0.45. Cash generated from operating activities was $118m compared to $98m in the same period last year.

The company said product revenue grew 4% to $250m, while services revenue grew 8% to $243m. Geographically, Americas revenue grew 13% to $285m, EMEA revenue fell 7% to $114m, and Asia Pacific and Japan revenue grew 3% to $94m.

For fiscal 2008, the company reported a 25% increase in net income to $250m compared to net income of $200m a year ago, on revenue up 4% at $1.76 billion.
