Syntel, an information technology services and knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) firm, has collaborated with Netezza, a provider of data warehouse and analytic appliances, to deliver data warehousing and business intelligence offerings.
Syntel said that it will offer system integration services for the Netezza platform along with its existing portfolio of data warehousing and business intelligence services.
Syntel’s Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence centre of Excellence offers services including assessment, product and architecture selection, product implementation, data modeling, enterprise data management, data mining and migration services.
The Netezza data warehouse appliance is built to analyse petabytes of detailed data faster than existing data warehouse options. It stores, filters and processes terabytes of records within a single unit, analysing only the relevant information for each query.
