SOS Online Backup, a provider of online backup technology, has launched SOS for iPhone, an application designed for to offer users access to their digital content anytime and anywhere.
With SOS for iPhone, the digital content such as photos, presentations, documents and music, protected with SOS, can be accessed, streamed and shared, the company said.
According to SOS Online Backup, it gives users the ability to back-up and store data in the cloud. The SOS cloud stores customer data in six different data centres such as the US, India, Europe and Australia.
Ken Shaw, chief technology officer of SOS Online Backup, said: These days the traditional idea of ‘going to work’ has transformed from being strapped to a desk into being able to access your network 24/7 through mobile devices. With more and more people working via mobile, there is a strong need to ensure your data is both protected and accessible.
SOS Online Backup already features local and offsite backup as well as strong sharing capabilities. SOS for iPhone now allows users complete access to their data on-demand through the iPhone in addition to our web portal.”
