Sonus Networks (SONS), a provider of next-generation IP-based network offerings, has unveiled its new Network Analytics Suite of performance management products, which include NetAssure, NetScore and NetEng.
NetScore collects and analyses call detail records from Sonus network elements to provide a real-time view of network performance through visual reports and alerts on key performance indicators, while NetAssure utilises a combination of distributed agents and probes to provides visibility into the network’s quality of experience.
NetEng is a planning, trending and forecasting tool that collects usage and performance data and transforms it into visual reports that allow network analysts to view element statistics at a glance, according to the company.
IDC program director of network software Elisabeth Rainge said, by expanding their commitment to operational support systems, Sonus has recognised the need to move beyond selling elements and is embracing a solutions approach to product delivery.
Sonus Networks vice president of network technologies Wassim Matragi said, with this release, the company is further illustrating their commitment to delivering the most robust, efficient IP networks in the market.
"With the Network Analytics Suite, our customers will have the information needed to understand how their network is really operating, minimise problems and take steps to prevent future obstacles," Matragi said.
