Software AG has unveiled a new ARIS MashZone 2.0, which supports users by creating their own management dashboards for evaluating a wide variety of data.

The company said that the data can come from different sources and be combined and visualised, providing companies a better overview of the interconnections between existing data, and facilitating them in preparing key indicators and figures.

In addition, MashZone’s Web 2.0 approach supports users in developing and using dashboards as a group, resulting in improved information exchange.

The new ARIS MashZone 2.0 functions include new visualisation components; connectivity; and access to distributors; Web integration; and simplified access.

The company said that MashZone 2.0 is available as an enterprise edition and provides rights management to optimise the release process for mashups. It is integrated with JDBC data source and ActiveDirectory.

Software AG chief product officer Wolfram Jost said that after the successful launch of ARIS MashZone, they are now addressing larger companies with their Enterprise Edition.

"Management mashups can be generated ad hoc, published within the company easily and then developed further as a group, while dashboards created for specific situations enable users to make well-founded decisions faster and better," Jost said.
