SAP has unveiled the 4.2 versions of SAP Data Services and SAP Information Steward, an open and real-time data management software that claimed to integrate, transform and improve the value of data.
The new versions of the applications are claimed to address the need for better information governance, meet big data requirements and create a simpler user experience in order to support the organisations in running better.
SAP Information Management global VP, Byron Banks, said: "This holistic set of solutions helps customers measure and extract business value from their data, which can improve business performance by increasing the accuracy of analytics, uncover new insights from big data, and optimise the efficiency of all business processes."
The new version of the Data Stewards is claimed evaluate the financial consequence of poor data in critical business initiatives like information governance, big data analytics, business intelligence (BI) and data migrations.
The new business impact analysis feature of SAP Information Steward allows the users to track metrics and assign a financial value to each data issue.
Features of the 4.2 versions of SAP Data Services and SAP Information Steward include the ability to build the best record for 360-degree customer view, add locations to addresses for greater business value and offer support for big data.
