SAP has released its Social Contact Intelligence application that allows evaluation of sentiment and contact insights from social media channels and company-owned sources.

The new application allows the marketing professionals to add social sentiment insights into their campaigns to identify and target prospects and influencers in order to increase sales.

SAP Social Contact Intelligence also allows the sales professionals to know the most influential and relevant contacts at an account to assess product and service complaints from social channels in order to detect trouble spots and take preventive measures.

The new SAP Social Contact Intelligence is part of the SAP Customer Engagement Intelligence application, which is a set of applications powered by SAP HANA that claimed to offer real-time insight from customer data to increase revenue and profit for organisations.

According to the company, the SAP Customer Engagement Intelligence can leverage text analysis and predictive engines within SAP HANA with natural language processing and predictive algorithms.

The Customer Engagement Intelligence includes SAP’s applications like Audience Discovery and Targeting analytic application, Customer Value Intelligence analytic application and Account Intelligence mobile app.
