Roxio, a division of Sonic Solutions, has released new version of its backup and recovery software Retrospect, which allows small and midsize businesses to protect data stored on Mac, Windows, and Linux servers, desktops, and notebooks.
The company said that its new release Retrospect 8.2, has been boosted with 300% faster network backup performance and adds 64-bit addressing to enable the backup of volumes containing tens of millions of files.
Roxio Retrospect 8.2 for Mac has the ability to restore from backups created with Retrospect 6 and also includes user interface enhancements that simplify workflow and management tasks.
