Ricoh launches social networking platform for GlobalScan NX users

Users can share & distribute business process templates, and get ideas and tips for work flow designs

By CBR Staff Writer

Ricoh Americas, a digital office equipment provider, has launched its online interactive community focused on a single product.

The social networking website is designed to provide Ricoh GlobalScan NX users the opportunity to share and distribute custom business process templates and communicate best practices with other departments in their organisation as well as other companies around the world.

This online community also uploads functionality, which enables users to share templates they have created for a specific workflow process or industry with other GlobalScan NX users, where these submitted templates receive attribution.

Ricoh’s GlobalScan NX community also offers a forum for users to exchange ideas and tips for workflow design.

Ricoh Americas Corporation senior vice president of Marketing Shun Sato said with the era of social networking in full swing, Ricoh believes this online community will be an effective tool for improving the sharing and distribution of business processes.

"By creating a platform where users can share workflow management templates and insights, they are enabling them to exchange information and manage their time," Sato said.
