QlikTech launches QlikView 11

QlikView 11 includes connection wizards and out-of-box connectors to SAP, Informatica, and Salesforce.com

User-driven Business Intelligence (BI) firm QlikTech has launched QlikView 11, introducing social decision-making on its self-service BI platform to help business users collaborate to make more insightful decisions.

With QlikView 11 QlikTech expands its vision to include all the ways people make decisions every day – with relevant data, on location, and with teams, said the company.

With the introduction of comparative analysis, QlikView 11 marks the next generation of associative search pioneered by QlikView.

With this new release application development is made easier and faster, and QlikView’s manageability and security capabilities are enhanced for large enterprises, said the company.

QlikTech said QlikView 11 puts the social and collaborative experience front and center and with the social business discovery, workgroups and teams can collaborate by collectively exploring data in real time.

QlikView users can invite others to participate in live, interactive, shared sessions. The users who do not have a license can also participate in these shared sessions.

In addition users can also now post and respond to notes right in the context of any QlikView app, said the company.

With QlikView users are not limited to predefined paths they must follow, or questions they must formulate ahead of time and business users can now create multiple selection states in a QlikView app which makes QlikView easier to gain new insights into patterns of use, opportunities and threats.

QlikView 11 on Mobile delivers the complete business discovery experience – including interactive analysis, rich visualisation, associative search, and the ability to share apps, data and decision trails.

With QlikView 11, IT can assure data security, quality, and governance and also QlikView 11 let users to create apps through a simple process that instantly delivers relevant analysis, reports, and dashboards critical to decision-making and operations.

With QlikView 11, users can have point and click app building capabilities to embed UI elements on the fly – no keystrokes needed and QlikView 11 includes connection wizards and out-of-box connectors to SAP, Informatica, and Salesforce.com.
