Oracle unveils new version of business intelligence application for health sciences

Oracle Health Sciences Clinical Development Analytics help organisations to merge data from multiple clinical trial sources

By CBR Staff Writer

Oracle Health Sciences has introduced the latest version of Oracle Health Sciences Clinical Development Analytics.

The new business intelligence application is said to improve the quality and timeliness of clinical trial data and also promises to simplify and prioritise the responsibilities of study managers, clinical data managers and site monitors.

The new release delivers advanced dashboards that are designed for clinical trial roles to increase resource utilisation, besides providing a unified view across operational systems on a single screen to help organisations to merge data from multiple clinical trial sources, the company said.

The drill-down functionality and key performance indicators help in identifying the areas requiring action or attention, while the new de-duplication technology supports reports that combine both clinical operations and data management information.

The new BI application can also be used in conjunction with Oracle Business Intelligence Mobile application for Apple iPhone and iPad to enable mobile users to access the performance management information.
