Online One, a provider of online applications, has launched oneScan iPad application for NetSuite, a mobile offering cloud ERP suite to Apple’s iPad.
Built using NetSuite’s SuiteCloud platform, the new oneScan iPad application enables wholesalers and distributors to access NetSuite and manage their key business processes on the iPad.
Warehousing and distribution companies can replace error prone paper-based warehouse picking processes, get real-time visibility into stock and inventory information while performing daily warehouse floor tasks, and eliminate double entry and common operator errors with oneScan and NetSuite, the company claims.
oneScan runs entirely in NetSuite, and provides mobile warehouse floor personnel with an application designed specifically to streamline their day-to-day tasks, using either the iPad touchscreen and/or a Bluetooth connected barcode scanner.
oneScan minimises operator errors by providing warehouse personnel with immediate validation at the point of entry right on the warehouse floor, ensuring that the data matches exactly the actual stock on hand, together with the location and the serial/batch numbers.
It takes full of advantage of NetSuite’s customisation capabilities, by being completely optimised for the iPad’s easy to read access screens and functions, and is configurable for different user requirements across multiple warehouse types
Online One technical director Brian Billingsley said with oneScan, they’re pleased to bring the power of NetSuite to the iPad and enable firms to rapidly transition warehouse staff from laborious data entry to productive users service roles.
