Netezza, a provider of data warehouse, analytic and monitoring appliances, has unveiled Mantra Vault appliance, a new purpose-built offering designed to address predictive data risk analytics.
Netezza said that Mantra Vault appliance provides predictive data risk analytics by analysing long-term transactional data activity cost-effectively and across thousands of databases.
The Mantra Vault extends the capabilities of DAM (data activity monitoring) products and enables large enterprises to gain long-term visibility, insight and a level of strategic risk assessment of transactional activity in their datacentres.
The appliance offers multi-year online compliance data retention, compliance and security reporting, and forensic activity analysis; pedictive analytics to recognise patterns of inappropriate or threatening behavior; and an open architecture to augment collection of DAM data with related data.
Netezza president and CEO Jim Baum said, the Mantra Vault appliance demonstrates the company’s commitment to develop a new series of specialised solution-oriented analytic appliances that leverage its data warehouse platform.
