Music Choice to use SAS Business Analytics Framework

To better evaluate and react to trends in product usage

By CBR Staff Writer

Music Choice, a multi-platform video and music network, will use the SAS Business Analytics Framework to better evaluate and react to trends in product usage.

The software from SAS is expected to optimize Music Choice’s access to business performance data, driving timely fact-based decisions while streamlining administration.

Music Choice is expected to benefit from SAS’s integrated system within a single framework. In particular, SAS Enterprise BI Server, SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Forecasting will reportedly be critical to the development of the company’s business strategy, combining data from disparate sources to analyze usage of the network’s diverse music-related offerings across its multiple platforms.

Stu Farber, vice president of IT engineering and operations at Music Choice, said: We selected SAS over dozens of other vendors for the quality of its powerful analytics software and its server-based pricing. With SAS data visualization, all Music Choice associates will have access to detailed analysis that can enhance both our strategic and tactical planning.
