MTI, a cloud infrastructure consultancy, has selected Nimsoft Monitoring Solution (NMS) for its Care, a service that provides clients with comprehensive remote monitoring, alerting and analysis of their Vblock based cloud environments.
Nimsoft said that the unified monitoring approach and an architecture that is ideal for cross-platform Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) environments, will enable MTI to monitor and address problems with client infrastructure and Vblock Infrastructure Packages before they impact the business.
In addition, NMS provides essential monitoring, event correlation and analysis capabilities.
Nimsoft CEO Gary Read said the flexible, modular architecture of NMS is perfect for managed service providers like MTI that are embracing Vblock and must respond to diverse client needs and expectations.
"Nimsoft is dedicated to providing comprehensive, monitoring solutions that fulfill the requirements of today’s rapidly emerging cloud marketplace," Read said.
Nimsoft said that MTI manages public and private cloud IT infrastructures for clients, including Vblock Infrastructure Packages, an initiative of VCE that integrates components from Cisco, EMC and VMware.
