MindStream develops new offering to drill-through from Oracle Hyperion apps

PDF documents like invoices can be attached to the transactions

By CBR Staff Writer

MindStream Analytics said it had developed an offering to enable its clients to drill-through from Oracle Hyperion Applications via Financial Data Quality Management (FDQM) into any source systems without the existing ERPI limitations.

Financial analysts can follow the audit trail via Hyperlinks, which drill down further and further into the source data, while using Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management to feed data into Financial Management, Planning or Essbase, the company said.

This will enable analysts to access details like accounts payable transaction level information from the source systems with a couple clicks.

Even PDF documents like invoices can be attached to the transactions. MindStream’s DIA enhancement lifts existing limitations of a few specific data sources, and enables Oracle Hyperion users to drill into anything.

MindStream Analytics senior consultant and architect Matthias Heilos said their custom Source Adapter for Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management, Drill-into-Anything (DIA), improves the functionality of Oracle’s ERP Integrator.

MindStream Analytics is a consulting and managed services provider that specializes in Oracle Hyperion EPM offerings.
