MicroStrategy, a provider of business intelligence (BI) software, has unveiled free reporting software package Reporting Suite, which provides access to SAPBusiness Information Warehouse (SAP BW) data, an online analytical processing system and data warehouse.
The company said that its Reporting Suite enables users to develop operational and analytical reports from SAP BW data and non-SAP data from an integrated BI interface. It enables business users and IT professionals access SAP BW data to perform statistical and advanced analyses, run performance scorecards, and drill to investigate details.
According to MicroStrategy, the new BI suite allows business users to visualise data using graphs and performance scorecards, create rankings and time-based comparisons, perform a range of business calculations, schedule reports to run to a personalised history list, view information in tabular grid reports or visualise grid-and-graph dashboards.
In addition, it enables users to run MDX queries against SAP BW without writing any code or scripts and run and personalise their own reports and analyses against SAP and non-SAP data.
