MarketLive, a provider of eCommerce software and services, has launched Intelligent Insights platform, a combination of analytics technologies and services that allow retailers to create informed online marketing and merchandising strategies for optimal retail business performance.

According to MarketLive, the new platform provides actionable analysis of consumer shopping behaviour, preferences and results. It is based on the company’s Intelligent Commerce Platform, and leverages analytics data from the Omniture Online Marketing Suite to provide retailers with customised analysis, dashboards and actionable insights offered on a regular basis from the company’s professionals.

The new platform is developed within the company’s Intelligent Solutions group. It offers integrated analytics technology whereby eCommerce sites are automatically equipped with Omniture SiteCatalyst tags.

Reportedly, the new platform includes: an ecommerce business performance and strategy review; customised executive dashboards that are tuned to the particular needs of each retailer; and ongoing marketing and merchandising insights.

The new platform represents the company’s Commerce-as-a-Service delivery model by providing hosted technologies and services as well as Intelligent Selling acumen to retailers, the company said.
