LinkedIn launched its mobile iPad app back in April and its Windows phone App in May.

The company has seen its mobile unique users rise to 23% this year and is now offering new features to enhance its mobile experience.

Users can now be notified in real time when a person views your profile, accepts your invitation or likes a link you shared.

Company pages have also gone mobile and users can see recent news and updates from company’s they follow.

Job listings are now also able to appear directly within a user’s mobile update stream.

Notifications and company pages are also available on the iPad as well as the option of 6 new languages.

The company has also said that users will soon have the ability to edit their profile from LinkedIn mobile apps.

LinkedIn’s stock has risen recently due to an impressive performance during its second quarter.

Linkedin reported that the company was up 89% in revenue with $228.2m compared to $121m in the second quarter of 2011.

However, the company had a net loss of $1.7m since its second quarter last year. Its net income was $2.8m compared to $4.5m during the same period last year.

"Our ongoing investment in product innovation drove healthy engagement as measured by unique visiting members and member page views, and our three revenue streams all experienced significant growth," said LinkedIn in a statement.
