US based networking equipment manufacturer Juniper Networks reported 5% drop in its Q3 2014 revenue from $1.19bn to $1.13bn.
The revenue slumped due to low demand from and slower ramp-up of new projects from its network providing customers like AT&T and Sprint.
The company saw revenue grew 3% in the Americas with Americas Service Provider revenue increased 1% triggered by Web 2.0 and cable provider growth.
The drop of 5% was due to decline in its service in Western Europe and the Middle Eastern Countries.
While the company saw 11% increase in service revenue to $316m while the product revenue was down by 10% at $810m.
The company also saw 3% drop in Enterprise revenue to 384m and Networks Security product revenue dropped by 16% to $121 m.
Net income of Juniper Networks rose to $103.6m year-over-year from $99.1 m.
