Perceptive Software has announced that Texas-based JPS Health Network will deploy the company’s ImageNow enterprise document management, imaging and workflow service in its accounts payable and human resources departments.
The health network will integrate ImageNow with its core business application, Lawson, to simplify its paper-based back office operations.
According to Perceptive, patented LearnMode technology will allow ImageNow to integrate with Lawson. This integration creates a direct connection between records in Lawson and corresponding information in ImageNow, enabling users to retrieve supporting documents from their Lawson screens instantly.
In accounts payable, ImageNow Workflow will simplify invoice processing by reducing the number of steps within the approval process by providing JPS Health Network employees a complete history of each document, from the time it is scanned into ImageNow until it is archived, said Perceptive.
JPS Health Network’s human resources department will utilize ImageNow to centralize and secure all employee information. Applicant and personnel documents will be captured, stored and accessible electronically, enabling HR staff to retrieve a resume, answer a payroll question or review a nurse’s license instantly and directly from their Lawson screens, added Perceptive.
Jamey Pennington, chief information officer at JPS Health Network, said: JPS Health Network’s mission is to provide quality healthcare to the uninsured people of Tarrant County. We value technology and understand its importance in helping us accomplish our goals. We looked at several leading services and ImageNow’s ability to integrate easily with our current solutions was a key decision point.
