IronKey, a maker of flash drive, has launched D200 USB devices, which it claims to offer security, remote update capabilities and low total cost of ownership. These drives allows mobile workers to store, transport and share data.
According to IronKey, the new USB devices features dual-channel architecture that enables rapid data transfer rates, usability and field-maintenance capabilities, doubles as a strong authentication token, and meets the security requirements for FIPS 140-2, level 3 validation,
In addition, the devices also provide secure management of encryption keys, and self-defending against physical, malware and password attacks.
David Jevans, CEO at IronKey said: “As mobile devices become more ubiquitous, it is imperative for enterprise organisations to be able to track, manage, maintain and update the USB drives in use in the organisation. Many of our large government and enterprise customers require the ability to update and upgrade devices in the field.
