Iomega, an EMC company, has launched a new line of Skin branded Hard Drives in conjunction with Skin Industries, including three compact personal storage models with custom Skin-branded graphics.
The company said all three different models in the new Iomega Skin Hard Drive line are USB 2.0-powered 500GB portable hard drives featuring its standard Drop Guard protection that helps guard the drive from accidental drops of up to 51 inches on to industrial carpet.
In addition, the hard drives feature Iomega’s Protection Suite, a one-stop portfolio of backup and anti-virus software that includes, QuikProtect backup software; Retrospect Express software that backups all of data plus applications and settings; and MozyHome Online Backup service, an online backup service with 2GB of online capacity for free.
