By CBR Staff Writer

Interactive Data, a provider of financial market data, analytics and related offerings, has launched PrimeTerminal Mobile, a BlackBerry application that enables users to follow developments in the financial markets in real time and monitor their own portfolios at any time and from anywhere.

PrimeTerminal Mobile offers access to a broad range of real-time quotes, historical and reference data, charts, business news and market overviews. Portfolios and watchlists can be accessed to check the performance of individual positions or an entire portfolio, and relevant news and events.

PrimeTerminal Mobile replicates users’ personal portfolio settings from their desktop application, while a user-friendly interface enables for individual customisation of the data displayed.

Financial market professionals can benefit from the same user-specific entitlement in terms of content, asset class coverage and depth of history as for the PrimeTerminal desktop offering.

Interactive Data wealth management products global managing director Carsten Dirks said With PrimeTerminal Mobile, they provide users with much of the content and functionalities defined within users desktop offerings.

This type of access can help them to quickly adjust their investment decisions in changing conditions even if they are out of the office.
