Infragistics releases new tool for enhanced user interfaces development

Delivers increased business intelligence and data analysis capabilities, says the company

User experience design software company Infragistics has released NetAdvantage Ultimate 2011 Volume 2, marking the debut of NetAdvantage Reporting.

The UI toolset gives developers the ability to deliver business reports that lets users generate actionable insight, it binds data from multiple sources, displays it in formats that make designing reports simple, supports all platforms and enables print and export to Microsoft Excel and PDF.

NetAdvantage Ultimate 11.2 delivers increased business intelligence and data analysis capabilities, and enhanced Excel-like experiences across all product platforms, said the company.

In addition, the new offering includes Infragistics’ OLAP Grid and Data Chart enhancements that enable users to drill into their data for quick interpretation and action, styling and branding capabilities across all platforms enabling end users to customise the look at feel of their application.

With the new offering, Infragistics enables as much re-use as possible across XAML products, continues to push to create new shared controls and continues to invest in the mature platforms and when ready, helps customers transition to new technologies as they need them.

NetAdvantage Ultimate provides Infragistics customers with ten UI toolsets including Windows Forms, ASP.NET, jQuery, Silverlight Line of Business, WPF Line of Business, Silverlight Data Visualization, WPF Data Visualization, Windows Phone, LightSwitch and Reporting toolkits.

Infragistics CEO Dean Guida said end users expect the same fluid experiences across all platforms, irrespective of the size and shape of their device.
