Informatica sees revenue growth of 31%

Announces $0.21 diluted earnings per share

Data integration software provider Informatica has reported revenue of $161.3m in the third quarter ended September 30 2010, an increase of 31% as compared to $123.4m in the same period last year.

License revenues were $69.8m, an increase of 40% from $50.0m recorded in the third quarter of 2009.

The company posted an operating income of $32.4m, up 45% as compared to $22.3m of the same period prior year.

For the quarter ended September 30 2010, the company posted a net income of $22.5m or $0.21 per diluted share, up 23% as compared to $16.2m or $0.17 per diluted share in the same period a year ago.

Informatica chairman and CEO Sohaib Abbasi said their third quarter record results are further evidence of their sustained growth opportunity.

"The increasing customer demand and our expansive product portfolio position us strongly to advance Informatica as the clear leader in data integration," Abbasi said.
