InLine is expected to swell IceWeb’s revenue by $8-10m in the coming year. The company also expects it to contribute significantly to earnings as well.

InLine’s range of proprietary storage products extends to SAN, NAS and direct attached storage as well as OEM-focuses storage appliances. The products have been marketed by the Dulles, Virginia-based firm under the TruEnterprise and FileStorm brands which run on Windows, Unix and Linux.

Based in Herndon, Virginia, IceWeb announced its intent to buy privately-held InLine in early December to expand its existing portfolio or proprietary network infrastructure hardware and software products and online service offerings which it provides mainly to US companies, consumers and government agencies.

IceWeb has a strong Microsoft and SaaS focus and its flagship online products include IceMail (network-hosted groupware), IcePortal (a collaboration portal) and IceSecure (a hosted encryption service) which it offers on a pay as you grow subscription basis.
