IceWEB, a provider of building blocks for cloud storage networks and purpose built appliances, has introduced a new data storage offering called the Iplicity-TP platform, aimed at providing high performance data storage for transaction processing intensive environments.
The company said that the new product is configured with a range of connectivity options, and 15.5KRPM SAS drives. It will be offered configured with solid state drives (SSD) for greater read/write and cache performance.
The company is adding enhancements to Cloud Storage Appliance(CSA). The new CSA supports multiple paths to allow interconnection of public, private or hybrid cloud storage networks to internet connections and/or corporate back haul IP networks.
