IBM unveils new business analytics offerings

Business analytics and optimisation capabilities integration for mobile workforce

By CBR Staff Writer

IBM has introduced new software that combines business analytics and optimisation capabilities by conflating social networking and collaboration capabilities for the increasing mobile workforce.

The new software delivers analytics in an interactive design and provides built-in images and videos to guide business users in an easy to use format anytime, anywhere on their mobile devices.

The company has launched a set of new business analytics and information management offerings including Cognos 10 that brings together the social collaboration and analytics for business users to gain real-time intelligence in a single, user-friendly interface online or through mobile.

The DB2 10 is a new database software that allows businesses combine data from past, present and future, delivering 40% performance improvements, while InfoSphere Server integrates diverse forms of data, and has the ability to see the quality of data before it’s used.
