i365, a Seagate Company has expanded EVault Remote Disaster Recovery (RDR) Service to further extend i365’s Cloud-Connected storage offerings across multi-platform environments.
The company said that the enhanced Cloud-based disaster recovery managed service allows mid-sized companies to remotely protect and recover critical servers, applications and information running on a operating systems.
EVault RDR integrates with i365’s range of EVault Cloud-Connected storage management offerings to give Cloud-based backup and disaster recovery for SMB customers in both the US and Canada.
i365 said that the EVault RDR is a Cloud-based managed service that helps organisations quickly recover critical applications after a disaster by restoring their applications within an i365 data center.
The entire disaster recovery process is tested and documented, and it’s all managed by a team of seasoned disaster recovery experts.
EVault RDR service, which is an extension of i365’s Cloud-Connected EVault backup and recovery services, features a grid storage platform that provides redundancy and performance, high availability, virtualisation, and superior storage efficiency to dramatically reduce the cost of achieving world-class disaster recovery.
i365 products vice president George Hoenig said that small and mid-size businesses often overlook data protection and disaster recovery as key components of their business applications strategy.
