HP has introduced HP As-a-Service Solution for SAP HANA service that claimed to help organisations analyse big data and unlock real-time insights.
The new application bundles the SAP HANA software license with hardware and management into a complete application, which will be offered as-a-service model.
HP As-a-Service Solution for SAP HANA is claimed to allow the users to receive benefits of in-memory computing and analytics to analyse and make decisions on significant amounts of data for their business.
HP Enterprise Application Services vice president Jules Beck said that the market pressures create the need for companies to know in real time what is going on with their enterprise, their clients and even their competitors, so that they can stay competitive.
"When HP and SAP innovate together, we raise the bar on what is possible for our clients by providing real-time insights," Beck added.
According to the company, the new application runs in an HP Managed Cloud environment either as a managed virtual private cloud or a managed private cloud in an HP data centre facility and is powered by the HP AppSystem for SAP HANA.
SAP Database and Technology Solutions senior vice president Eric Johnson said, "This new offering is part of SAP’s HANA Enterprise Cloud strategy to offer mission-critical end-to-end managed cloud services to its customers, both directly and through its valued partners such as HP."
The HP Services for SAP HANA include HP Migration Factory for SAP HANA, HP Implementation Services for SAP Solutions, HP Enterprise Cloud Services for SAP Solutions and HP Applications Management Services for SAP Solutions.
