Fujitsu and Escrit have unveiled the joint-development of a multidimensional analysis system using the application as a Service (SaaS)-based SAP BusinessObjects BI OnDemand business intelligence offering, provided by Fujitsu, in Japan.
Escrit can now visualise the business conditions surrounding the company by employing the new service to perform multidimensional analyses of its corporate information, including its business plans, accounting information, as well as sales and operational data from all of its facilities across Japan.
This enables Escrit to formulate company-wide strategies that incorporate the diverse needs of its users, to make timely management decisions, and to enhance front-line management at each of its facilities.
The new platform works by systemising the know-how of individual employees about the collection of data on the progress of sales at each facility, the companies said.
Escrit employed the SaaS-based SAP BusinessObjects BI OnDemand business intelligence service, provided by Fujitsu for which, Escrit collaborated with Fujitsu to develop this system and to perform multidimensional analyses of the company’s corporate data.
Escrit can keep an eye on key performance indicators of its constantly changing operating environment, as well as it can investigate the cause-and-effects of problems.
