US-based First Communications, a local exchange carrier, has selected Razorsight, a provider of on-demand financial business intelligence and analytics services, to automate margin and network cost management for its growing customer base and network.
According to Razorsight, AIM Analytics platform will provide related financial reporting and analytic capabilities. Razorsight claimed that its system will ensure that the First Communications realize the optimal Network Cost Score, a new formula created by Razorsight to benchmark how communications service providers balance the blend of internal staff costs, systems and third-party providers to obtain the lowest possible network costs.
With Razorsight’s AIM Analytics system, First Communications is expected to gain increased visibility into network cost details while driving towards a completely integrated cost management solution. AIM Analytics will provide First Communications with web-based, on-demand access to automated audits of every dollar spent on the network every month. AIM Analytics also automates the process of generating monthly financial reports.
