FalconStor Software has said that its storage virtualisation and data replication offerings for virtual servers are integrated and available for Oracle VM, to offer data protection, recoverability and continuous availability to Oracle virtual environments.
FalconStor Network Storage Server (NSS), a storage virtualisation and provisioning platform, integrates with Oracle VM to enable data mobility and centralised storage management for Oracle VM servers. FalconStor Continuous Data Protector (CDP) integrates with Oracle VM deployments to provide WAN-optimised replication and to enable automated operations failover to a remote disaster recovery site, the company said.
The company claims that its Application Snapshot Director (ASD) for Oracle VM will bring application-consistent data protection to Oracle VM environments, guaranteeing integrity to reduce recovery times and enable data availability during storage or system failure.
FalconStor further claims that HyperTrac Backup Accelerator works with Oracle Secure Backup (OSB) to provide zero-impact backups for Oracle VM servers by offloading backup processes from the virtual server.
