Digi-Data has unveiled a new internet storage platform. It offers an integrated suite of software applications for data protection, media content management and remote access to data.
According to Digi-Data, the new platform is an integrated architecture for cloud storage. It features custom applications for both Apple and Windows platforms in addition to interaction with mobile devices. It combines both local and remote storage to provide ways for small businesses to store data.
Digi-Data’s SOAP API provides partners and third-party developers the tools to develop and deploy services in multiple spheres, ranging from Network Attached Storage (NAS) to wireless offerings.
The company said that its mobile applications allow BlackBerry and iPhone devices to connect to its storage platform to enhance mobile experience.
