Dell adopts Teradata’s data warehouse offering

To use as foundation for business intelligence enterprise data warehouse

By CBR Staff Writer

Teradata said that Dell has upgraded the former’s Active Enterprise Data Warehouse platform to be used as the analytic foundation for Dell’s business intelligence enterprise data warehouse.

Teradata said that its Purpose-Built Platform Family offers new customers options to start small and grow.

In addition, the data warehouse offering allows existing customers to optimise their data warehouse environment for price and performance.

The company said it acts as a trusted advisor in presenting a range of options, rather than an approach that one size, one price fits all.

Teradata vice president of products and services Randy Lea said that Dell’s market is dynamic and enterprise analytics enables the business agility needed to spot and take advantage of opportunities in the market and create new operating efficiency.
