CVB selects IT-Lifeline to Business continuity services

IT-Lifeline (ITL) said that it will back-up Cashmere Valley Bank’s (CVB’s) critical data and applications offsite at the recovery center located in Liberty Lake, Washington. ITL is also expected to provide a logical partition on an iSeries server for host recovery, as well as, provisioning a workplace recovery suite.

Sue Ozburn, chief information officer of CVB, said: Being able to work with a single provider whose core competency is disaster recovery and business continuity allows us to focus on our core competency – being a bank focused on providing the best quality service to our customers. Having a practical location to resume bank operations coupled with a partner that understands the importance we place on high quality continual service to our customers no matter the circumstances, provides real peace of mind.

Jim Sandford, COO of ITL, said: It requires separate and unique processes to launch and facilitate the technologies being provided to CVB. We consistently hear from our customers the importance of working with a vendor they can testament to our talented engineering staff and depth of experiedepend on to provide a comprehensive solution. The selection of ITL is a nce within the industry – we are thrilled to be working with CVB and their team.
