Continuity Software has launched its enterprise-class high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) testing and vulnerability detection offering ‘RecoverGuard Version 5.4’.
The company said the new offering features key enhancements intended to target the specific needs of enterprise-class business organisations, including DR capacity management and multiple scan schedule support, as well as extended IBM platform support and almost 5000 new risk signatures.
Using the new tool, global companies can ensure DR, HA and service level agreement (SLA) compliance across their geographically distributed primary production, remote DR and private cloud computing environments, claims the company.
Continuity Software chief technology officer Doron Pinhas said indeed, today’s enterprise data centres are extremely large, incredibly complex and being changed/updated on a constant basis, and to attempt to compare production and recovery sites, as well as private cloud infrastructures on a daily basis is not a trivial endeavour.
"This is however exactly what RecoverGuard continuously and completely transparently accomplishes. RecoverGuard finds all gaps and vulnerabilities as they happen – instead of waiting 6 months to a year – during which time the company is unprotected," Pinhas said.
"Moreover, with RecoverGuard’s v5.4 enhancements customers can rest assured that their highly distributed, business critical data and applications will remain highly-available and protected in the face of any manmade or natural disaster."
