A cloud provider has announced the release of a new suite of SSD-powered services.

GetCloudServices (GCS) has unveiled its new scalable provision of Database-as-a-Service and Platform-as-a-Service, as well as an in-memory Cache-as-a-Service.

Powered by software provider CumuLogic, the suite is being targeted at firms which want to deploy cloud applications without forking out for the associated hardware and software costs, instead using GCS and CumuLogics’ servers and network.

The suite would enable developers to build, deploy and manage native cloud applications as well as web and legacy applications migrated to the cloud, according to GCS.

GCS CEO Billy Forte said: "We’re excited to partner with CumuLogic…to offer our customers the superior level of service and performance they’ve come to expect."

The suite can be used on private and public clouds and supports new and existing applications, while free 30-day accounts are being offered to new and current customers of GCS.
