Provides data transfers in a durable, lightweight form factor for optimum portability

By CBR Staff Writer

Cirago International, a provider of multimedia centers, storage and wireless solutions, has unveiled ultra-compact CST6000 Series USB 3.0 portable storage drive, to provide data transfers in a durable, lightweight form factor for optimum portability.

The company said the new storage drive is 1/2" thick and leverages on the company’s interface technology, and can achieve up to 10-times the transfer speed of USB 2.0.

The new CST6000 is available in 250GB, 320GB, 500GB and 640GB capacity with enough storage to host a substantial multi-media collection.

The new storage drive features a durable iPhone-like aluminum case that is lightweight, and also stands up to heat and shock.

In addition, the CST6000 features Cirago’s frustration-free packaging and is designed for portability and comes complete with a carrying pouch to offer added protection when dropping the drive into a laptop bag, briefcase or backpack.

Cirago president Patrick Lo said that the ultra-portable drive delivers the latest USB 3.0 technology with plug-and-play ease that is also backward compatible with existing 2.0 technology.
