Centrify upgrades NoSql cyber security

News: The firm wants to improve protection valuable Big Data

Centrify is expanding its big data security solution with support for NoSQL.

Upgrades to Centrify Server Suite 2015.1 will enable Active Directory-based authentication into NoSQL-based apps, and will give IT and security staff privileged access management, so that they can meet security and compliance requirements.

Bill Mann, chief product officer of Centrify said: "Centrify enables big data teams to reduce CapEx and OpEx by streamlining the process of securing access across big data and other core IT systems that require strict controls and enforcement of security policy.".

With big data becoming increasingly important for firms, the data they store is becoming evermore valuable.

Centrify has also revealed strategic partnrships with Couchbase, DataStax and MongoDB.
