The US-based IT managed service provider (MSP) CenterBeam has chosen HP Converged Infrastructure to cope with the growing capacity demands of its cloud service applications.

The MSP has selected HP VirtualSystem as the backbone for its hosted platform which include HP 3PAR storage and HP ProLiant BL460c G7 server blades.

HP VirtualSystem provides the MSP a path to virtualised application services and helps in eliminating performance limitations, while its integrated management eases deployment and security across physical and virtual environments.

The new infrastructure enables CenterBeam’s customers to move its data, which is not used often, from expensive drives to SATA drives to reduce costs by more than half with the use of HP 3PAR Adaptive Optimization software.

CenterBeam has also joined with HP for its HP CloudAgile Program that enables service providers to expand applications with HP 3PAR and HP VirtualSystem’s built in services.

HP CloudAgile Program leverages HP technology to offer service providers the access to HP’s global sales force and the worldwide network of channel partners to extend their sales reach and expand service applications portfolio briskly.
